Md. Arafatul Islam, Bangladesh

This is Arafatul Islam from Bangladesh. I am a Journalist, blogger and development worker. Right now I am working with Weekly 2000 (www.shaptahik2000.info) as a staff reporter. This Weekly news magazine is an independent platform for me to write reports on caretaker government advisors, Anti corruption commission, human rights and ICT. I love to take interview. I have some good experience on taking interviews of top level government and Army staffs.

I am working to establish an online platform for South Asian Journalist, Policy makers, NGO staffs and civil society. The name of the platform is ‘Voice of south’. Last year I started a discussion forum to establish this platform. Now this forum has more than 700 members based on south Asian countries. The portal of this forum (www.voiceofsouth.org) is in beta version.  South Asian development issues are the main theme of voice of south online platform. However, members can discuss any south Asian issues in discussion forum (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/voice-of-south/ ).
